GoBeyond designs and delivers corporate events, meetings, conferences and team programmes across Budapest and Vienna - places we know well enough to keep ambitious plans both imaginative and realistic.

We operate where we live, which means access, local knowledge, long-standing relationships, and a clear understanding of what serves our partners best. When you brief us, you work with a senior team who takes ownership from the first conversation to the final guest departure.

Budapest

Heritage and creative drive sit comfortably side by side, so grand historic venues, restored palaces and contemporary spaces all feel equally at home hosting your programme. The result is an atmosphere that is visually striking, unmistakably local and easy to work with.

The Danube runs confidently through the centre, its UNESCO-listed riverfront forming a backdrop that guests can explore on foot between meetings and evening gatherings. Bath culture and a lively gastronomy scene are part of everyday life here, which means they can become effortless parts of your event rather than staged additions. Budapest is used to the spotlight, regularly hosting international sporting championships and major festivals such as Sziget. Corporate side events can connect naturally to this wider rhythm.

Vienna

Bring an idea to Vienna and feel the city lift it higher. Vienna offers grand surroundings that are easy to navigate, so your programme flows naturally between historic venues and contemporary spaces. Its international airport and rail connections rank among the strongest in the region, making arrivals simple and departures equally effortless, even for complex, multinational groups.

The city provides high-end service with a level of value that often surprises first-time planners. Hotels, technical partners and venues operate on the highest standard while remaining commercially sensible. The cultural calendar adds further depth: major exhibitions, contemporary art fairs and a strong music scene regularly draw the city’s attention, creating opportunities to connect your event to moments that already energise the local community.

How we make it work

We have placed culture-hungry conference delegates a short walk from the Opera House, found hotels equipped to care for both classic car owners and their vehicles, and moved executive teams into quiet countryside cabins where clear thinking comes naturally.
We treat accommodation as a strategic choice. Conferences require infrastructure that keeps business flowing without friction; team programmes benefit from character and atmosphere; executive groups need privacy without compromise.

We maintain strong partnerships with international hotel groups and actively follow new openings too. By engaging early, we secure advantageous terms and introduce venues that bring genuine new energy to a programme.

Galleries, botanical gardens, thermal baths, sports arenas and historic palaces. Cities like Budapest and Vienna take pride in these spaces, and we take pride in making unexpected ideas work within them.
Business meetings require premium environments that support focus, timing and flow. We select venues ensuring that logistics stay invisible and attention remains where it belongs.

And when it is time to step beyond the meeting room, we rely on our local presence and long-standing connections to open doors rarely accessible to organised groups, bringing participants closer to the authentic rhythm and character of the city.

We understand the art of travel. Transportation is never merely a change of location. It is a considered a part of the time you spend here, that can become an experience in itself or be used purposefully and well. From the first airport arrival onward, movement becomes meaningful.
We have hosted conferences aboard moving trains, welcomed guests via private Danube boat transfers, and arranged panoramic tram rides through historic city centres. The journey is part of the story your guests take home.

Our programmes are location-specific. Beyond the well-known landmarks, we integrate local moments that are specific to the time and place: major sporting events, concerts, seasonal festivals, and cultural highlights that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
Some events remain rooted in one city, others unfold across multiple locations. What matters is that they feel coherent and thoughtfully paced, with each destination contributing its own character to the overall experience.

We have organised side events alongside major athletics and world aquatics championships, including private pool sessions for participating teams. Sometimes the most memorable part of a programme happens just beyond the main stage.

We might recommend our grandmother’s favourite restaurant in Vienna because we know it is genuinely good. In Budapest, your group could sit down together at a long table while a new generation of chefs puts a fresh spin on local cuisine.
Food is one of the most direct ways to understand a place. Through eating, you experience history, heritage, pride and reinvention — often within a single course. Business travel, at its best, is about gaining perspective, and few things offer that as naturally as a shared table.

Every event deserves its own visual language. Our creative team joins from the very beginning, shaping how the event looks, feels and functions. By working with trusted local production partners and favouring timeless, well-considered solutions over disposable spectacle, we reduce unnecessary transport and keep both costs and production timelines under control.
Beyond the event itself, we ensure that its key moments are thoughtfully documented. Aftermovies, longer narrative films, or curated photo collections allow the experience to remain present long after the programme has ended.

Behind every seamless event stands a team that has already thought three steps ahead.
We provide complete technical setup and on-site support, including sound engineers, lighting specialists, video crews and experienced event managers. Our technical team tests everything a day in advance, and every member of the crew knows exactly what follows next. There is no need to travel with your own staff, we are your people on the ground.

Where useful, we develop a dedicated landing page for your event to centralise information and communication. We have installed LED walls in thermal baths, projected into museum domes, organised silent discos in national museums and implemented custom digital scoring systems for gamified formats. We are comfortable operating beyond conventional venues.

International events rarely begin in one place. Alongside our DMC expertise, GoBeyond operates a global B2C travel portfolio, giving us first-hand experience in handling long-haul routes, complex itineraries and arrivals from both EU and non-EU countries. Whether half the group travels visa-free and the other half requires documentation, we manage the process calmly and thoroughly.
Participants can rely on us for individual flight arrangements, visa coordination and even international shipping when event materials need to cross borders in advance.

Your trip should feel organised before guests even arrive.

The trip to the Azores organised by GoBeyond was our 4th incentive trip and by far the one that received the highest praise from our colleagues: many of them highlighted the quality of the hotel, the surfing and the botanical gardens. In addition, several people also indicated that the team was very united thanks to the diversity of the programmes and the excellent work of the tour guides. We just went with the flow and it formed a unity among us.

It's always a pleasure to organize a trip with GoBeyond tour guides. I like how the guides are so creative when putting together the trip itineraries and make sure everyone is comfortable. They are flexible; if something needs to be changed, they have lots of new ideas. They pay attention to detail and we always get premium quality.

FAQ

GoBeyond Agency operates with dedicated local teams and offices in both Budapest and Vienna, giving us strong on-the-ground expertise as a Budapest and Vienna DMC partner. Our team keeps close track of the newest venues, restaurants, event locations and programme opportunities in both cities. While we know these two capitals exceptionally well, our destination expertise extends across Hungary and Austria, including countryside locations, wine regions and lakeside destinations. This allows us to design corporate events, conferences and incentive trips that go beyond the capitals and reveal the more authentic character of the region.

If your plans reach beyond Central Europe, you can rely on us there as well — our outbound portfolio includes programmes organised from Copenhagen and the Croatian islands to Cairo and Oman.

We organise conferences, incentive trips and team-building programmes, always ensuring that the professional content of the event remains strong and well delivered. At the same time, we believe the moments between meetings matter just as much. That’s why we complement business programmes with experience-based activities, turning even practical elements into part of the event – for example, transforming a transfer into a city experience, such as travelling across Budapest or Vienna on a private panoramic tram.

While we have proven programme elements, every event we design is tailored to the client’s objectives, schedule and audience. We regularly build programmes around special cultural or sporting moments, whether it’s attending a Christmas opera performance or visiting a major international championship. Each experience is carefully adapted to the rhythm and goals of the event, ensuring that every programme feels relevant, seamless and genuinely memorable.

We provide end-to-end DMC services, starting with a detailed proposal based on your brief, including accommodation, programmes, venues and gastronomy. We also support event concept and visual identity, manage production, and create photo and video content for your event. Our team handles transfers, technical setup, logistics and on-site coordination, staying with you from guest arrival to departure. Each project concludes with clear and transparent accounting, exactly as agreed, with no hidden costs.

Our event experts are present throughout the entire programme, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and responding quickly if something unexpected happens. To be honest, the biggest “problem” with us is that we rarely accept the word impossible. Over the years we have sourced contact lenses in the middle of the night, solved lost luggage situations, arranged last-minute cakes and flowers minutes before a celebration, and even accommodated more guests than originally expected, making sure everyone could still take part in the event comfortably.

Budapest–Vienna programmes are a natural part of our work. With local teams in both cities, we manage multi-city corporate events, conferences and incentive trips smoothly, taking care of all logistics between locations. Our experience also extends beyond the two capitals. Over the years we have organised programmes in destinations such as Japan, Sri Lanka, Switzerland and the Balkans, and through our trusted partner network we confidently deliver complex, multi-country programmes across Central Europe.

We regularly organise events and experiences in the Hungarian and Austrian countryside. Popular destinations include Lake Balaton, the Alps, wine regions, historic towns and scenic natural areas, all within comfortable reach of the capitals. These locations are ideal for corporate retreats, incentive programmes, team-building activities or relaxed off-site moments during a larger event. Thanks to our local knowledge and trusted partner network, we can seamlessly extend your programme beyond the cities and introduce guests to the more authentic landscapes and traditions of Hungary and Austria.

Through our broader travel portfolio, we also organise programmes far beyond the region, covering destinations across Europe and further afield.

In addition to our DMC and event services, we can support clients with travel arrangements, including flights, transfers and visa coordination when needed. Thanks to our broader travel expertise, we are used to working with international groups arriving from multiple countries and time zones. Our team helps ensure that the journey is organised smoothly from the moment guests depart until they arrive at the event destination. This way, your event already feels well coordinated before the programme even begins.

We always do our best to accommodate individual requests within the group, both before and after the event. Whether it involves pre-event communication, special transport arrangements, production needs or other logistical details, our team is available to support. We believe that smooth coordination often depends on these smaller details, so we remain flexible and responsive to ensure that every participant’s needs are handled with care.

We select accommodation based on the type of event, group size and the overall programme design. For conferences and corporate meetings, we prioritise hotels with the right infrastructure, meeting facilities and accessibility. For team programmes or incentive trips, we often look for hotels with character and atmosphere that add something extra to the experience. Thanks to our long-standing partnerships with international hotel groups and independent properties in Budapest, Vienna and across the region, we can recommend options that balance comfort, location and value, while fitting naturally into the rhythm of the event.

While Budapest and Vienna offer many well-known attractions, we design many original and tailor-made programmes that go beyond what you would typically find online. Over the years we have developed a wide range of unique concepts and local experiences created specifically for our clients. Thanks to our local knowledge and creative event design, we can introduce guests to places, formats and moments that are not part of standard tourist programmes.
