Introducing the Chery brand to the Hungarian market through a large-scale launch event that could speak to multiple audiences at once. Alongside a high-impact public festival designed for families, lifestyle audiences and future customers, the programme also needed to deliver a credible professional platform for automotive industry partners, media and technical stakeholders.

Solution

One of the key venues of Chery’s Hungarian launch was the Műegyetem Embankment, where a three-day festival atmosphere welcomed visitors on the banks of the Danube.

Set against one of Budapest’s most iconic waterfront backdrops, the programme combined live concerts, family activities, expert talks and technology showcases. Alongside the full Chery model range, a carefully curated vintage car exhibition created an interesting contrast, presenting both the future of mobility and the heritage that shaped it.
Accommodation & Event venue
The venue offered a uniquely fitting setting for the event: one of Budapest’s historic engineering universities, long associated with innovation, technology and technical education. Its impressive landmark architecture and private riverfront location created a visually striking backdrop along the Danube, while remaining easily accessible to the public. Beyond the atmosphere, the venue also provided the scale and technical infrastructure required for a large-format festival and conference programme.
Business programs
The professional programme was built around the Mobility Summit, a side event of the festival created as a fresh platform for conversations around the future of mobility. While rooted in the automotive sector, the summit was designed to reach beyond industry insiders, opening discussions around global and regional mobility trends to a wider audience, including mainstream media and the public. Rather than relying on technical jargon alone, the programme approached transport and innovation through a more accessible human and societal lens.
Leisure activities
The leisure programme was built around a three-day festival atmosphere with free live concerts from popular Hungarian artists, attracting large crowds throughout the weekend. Alongside the music programme, visitors could explore family activities, interactive installations and vehicle exhibitions across the riverfront venue. As part of the festival, participants also witnessed the ceremonial start of the Balkan Rally, a long-distance adventure rally for classic cars and motorcycles heading across the landscapes of the Balkans.
