Our long-standing client organizes its annual team meeting, which had previously been held in Vienna on several occasions due to its easy accessibility by plane and excellent business infrastructure. This time, however, they decided to break with tradition and replace the tried-and-tested formula with a completely new, fresh approach. Classic programs such as sightseeing or exploring the most famous restaurants were no longer an option, as the team had become familiar with these over the years, so we looked for experiences that would truly offer something new and go beyond the usual city programs.
Solution
Taking advantage of the destination's special features, which are unique compared to the surrounding cities, the program starts in Vienna, where all participants arrive by plane. They spend the first evening at the atmospheric 25hours Hotel Vienna, where the meeting begins with an opening session. The next day, they board a train and continue their professional discussions on the way to Slovenia, thus using the travel time for meaningful conversations. By the time they arrive, it is all about the experiences: they start the evening at one of our favorite restaurants, Hiša Franko, followed by a snowshoe hike in the mountains the next day, which is crowned with a private sauna session.

Transfer
The team is served by a private railway carriage, which provides a private space for business meetings and a comfortable travel experience. This means that the journey time is also spent productively: meetings can be concluded en route, leaving the focus on relaxation upon arrival. During the journey, an informal atmosphere is created over dinner – a kind of elegant “house party” on the rails, where the team’s favourite wines are opened, music is played, and the shared experience begins during the journey.

For the next part of the trip, the group arrives at a small luxury alpine villa in Slovenia, which we choose several times for different groups. Nestled among the peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, this boutique accommodation in a quiet mountain village creates a calm, elegant atmosphere with natural materials, warm tones, and large windows overlooking the mountains—the perfect environment for slowing down and recharging.
