End-of-year conference with unique gastronomic experiences and lots of sunshine

Brief

The purpose of the trip is to get the company away from winter and into summer, with leaders from different countries and departments summarising the year’s business takeaways. Besides work, they want to find time for exciting outdoor activities, relax in comfortable accommodation and enjoy special gastronomic experiences.

Solution

We chose Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, which has the most dramatic natural scenery, with temperatures above 20°C and sparkling sunshine in winter. During the breaks from the intense work in the conference room by the sea, participants could enjoy coffee and conversation on the harbour promenade.

One of the highlights of the trip was the pop-up farewell dinner, co-produced with a local artist in a volcanic crater. The main course, organic goats, were buried on a bed of embers the night before and guests dug it up themselves during dinner the next day. Everyone who attended admitted to having a culinary experience that surpassed their Michelin-starred restaurant experience and stimulated all their senses.
